The GREEN VET Network, an Erasmus+ funded initiative, successfully conducted a two-day team project meeting in Lisbon, Portugal, from October 22–23, 2024. Hosted by our project coordinator, EWF, the event brought together key stakeholders and partners for productive discussions.

The first half of day one featured participation in the “Professionals of the Future” workshop, organized by EWF in Lisbon. This workshop included engaging roundtable discussions on crucial topics such as sustainability, AI, education, and training materials. Participants explored how these advancements are redefining industry qualifications and skills development, aiming to identify opportunities and propose solutions for current challenges while equipping the workforce for future demands.

Following the workshop, the team gathered for in-depth project discussions covering essential areas of project management, progress reviews, and action planning. Quality assurance procedures and evaluation strategies were also reviewed, emphasizing project milestones and upcoming deliverables.

Subsequent sessions included updates on the development of training guidelines and the roadmap for integrating new skills into various educational and professional contexts. The team also examined plans for pilot programs, discussing the design, implementation methods, and potential adjustments needed to ensure effective outcomes.

As we reflect on this productive workshop and meeting, we anticipate more collaborative events and updates on the horizon. Stay tuned for further developments as we continue advancing the GREEN VET Network's mission!
